I increasingly hear people wonder how they can connect with others in the midst of their unique spiritual journeys, and especially amid destabilization, transition, and upheaval.
This resource comes from wondering if I can take my experience from offering group spiritual direction and other types of facilitation, and create something that makes this easier for people to try whether they are practitioners themselves or a friend wanting to go deeper with others.
Check it out, try it, and let me know how it works for you. All sincere feedback is welcome. [13 pages]
I will work on version 2 when I have enough meaningful feedback to make changes.

A spiritual support group is an intentional place for people to offer support to each other in their spiritual journeys without preconceived notions of what that journey needs to look like and without judgement.
This document is for spiritual practitioners, facilitators, or friend groups who want to hold this type of space. It offers expectations and agreements that I apply and invite people to when I hold group space in this way, with detailed descriptions.* The purpose is finding mutual intention and accountability, so that trust and freedom can grow. [5 pages]
*When possible, I encourage giving space for group participants to make edits and additions as well.
-
Note: If meeting virtually, it may be helpful to either put these agreements in an online document that people in your group can edit or comment on OR give space for during session for clarifications, comments, and edits.
